Drawing Workshop (Grades K-3)

This class will focus on drawing skills, using basic lines and shapes, with direction about the elements of art and principles of design. All skill levels are welcome and all will benefit from added awareness of outline, shape, proportions, tone, color, texture, form and composition.
Group Guitar Lessons for Beginners (Grades 2-5)
Tim Ragan, Guitar Emporium
Tim has been teaching folks from 3 to 93 years old how to play their respective stringed instruments, since 1998. He's been an instructor at Guitar Emporium since 2006 and has played professionally since the early 90's. Mainly teaching electric and acoustic guitar, he also helps folks out with their slide instruments, ukulele and bass guitar. His primary focus is on figuring out how you learn and tailoring your lessons to fit your needs. Bring your own guitar or borrow one of ours. (Damaged or lost guitars will be charged a replacement fee.)
Quick Recall, Friday Practice (Grades 4-5)
Bill Flinn, Coach, Fourth Grade Teacher
(Assisted by various subject teachers)
Academically challenging, yet fun, this class prepares students for the fast pace of Quick Recall competition. Listen to questions read by a moderator and try to beat the clock, and the opposing team, with a correct response. Subjects covered include mathematics, science, social studies, arts and humanities, and language arts.
