How to Apply for Financial Aid

In order to receive an award with your child’s 2017-2018 enrollment contract, families should complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) at www.sssbynais.org (SSS) and upload all supporting documentation.

The PFS is required to be completed along with the following documentation uploaded to the SSS website before files are reviewed for a financial aid award:

  • 2016 federal tax returns with all schedules, statements, and K1s (if applicable)
  • 2016 W2s or 1099s (if applicable)
  • 2015 federal tax returns with all schedules, statements, and K1s (if applicable)
  • 2015 W2s or 1099s (if applicable)
  • Please note that Collegiate may request further documentation if necessary to determine the financial assistance award such as but not limited to asset statements, separation agreements, marital settlement agreements, bank statements, trust agreements, etc.
  • If a 2016 extension was filed (Form 4868), please upload to SSS

If you have questions related to the school’s financial aid program please contact Austin Anderton at
aanderton@loucol.com or 502.479.0377. If you are having technical difficulties uploading information or completing the SSS Personal Financial Statement please reach out to SSS customer service at 800.344.8328.

If your family has unusual financial circumstances that are not captured in your SSS application or tax return, please include comments in your SSS Personal Financial Statement.

Please be assured that financial aid information is kept in strict confidence by Collegiate. A family’s financial situation is known only by the school’s financial aid committee. Billing processes are designed to keep a family’s financial circumstances confidential. Collegiate expects that families do not share their financial aid information with anyone. Awards may be withdrawn due to a breach of this confidentiality.
