Clubs and Activities
Upper School students are encouraged to embrace all that Collegiate has to offer both inside and outside of the classroom. Based on our passionate belief in the value of extracurricular involvement and our desire to help our students balance the multiple competing priorities in their lives, Collegiate provides time during the school day for clubs and activities to meet. As a result, most upper school students participate in multiple clubs and/or activities, and all students are encouraged to be involved actively in at least one. Students are also welcome to start their own clubs and activities!
Collegiate prides itself on being a small school with big school spirit. In addition to a multitude of extracurricular offerings, Collegiate also boasts a number of student life traditions that our community enjoys. Some examples include our Freshman Orientation Retreat, First Day of School Tug of War, Honor Code Commitment Ceremony, Blue/Gold Competitions by class, Homecoming Spirit Week, Pep Rallies, Halloween Costume Contest and the Lower School Costume Parade, Holiday Tune Morning Meeting, Chinese New Year Celebrations, Collegiate Coffee House, Pi Day Celebration and Pi Recitation Contest and our Kindergarten Derby.
